Sacred Trust

Your sacred trust is your solemn charge, and it is an outward expression of a commitment you are making to the Lord to stand in the gap as intercessor and watchman of the Moravian Watch. It is an agreement to be held accountable to keep these hours sacred, consecrated and separated to the Lord. It is your commitment to be reliable, honest and truthful before God at all times.

Isaiah 62:6-7 "I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; They shall never hold their peace day or night. You who  make mention of the Lord, do not keep silent, 7 And give Him no rest till He establishes and till He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth."

Ezekiel 44:15-16 "But the priests, the Levites, the sons of Zadok, who kept charge of My sanctuary when the children of Israel went astray from Me, they shall come near Me to minister to Me; and they shall stand before Me to offer to Me the fat and the blood," says the Lord God. They shall enter My sanctuary, and they shall come near My table to minister to Me, and they shall keep My charge."

Sacred Trust Commitment

During this training and orientation session, I will consider my (one-hour prayer watch), as a “Sacred Trust." Therefore, as a top priority, I purpose to be faithful to keep charge of the night except for travel, sickness or emergencies, for the duration of my Sacred Trust on the [M]Watch. I will honor my commitment and find replacements should I be absent for any of the prayer set(s) of which I am a part. I will also provide 48 hours notice if I need to change my Sacred Trust. I purpose to be faithful to the commitments I have made, and understand the repercussions if I am not.
