The Sovereignty of God and the Power of Prayer For Israel and the Nations.
3 Days of Fasting For Israel & The Gaza War. (Oct. 11-13, 2023)
The Lord spoke to one of our trusted leaders, Apostle Zakia McKinney, to call our community to a time of prayer and fasting for three days focused on recognizing and honoring God's Sovereignty, believing the power of global prayers, and expecting God to move miraculously on the global stage.
PRAYER POINTS:
Day 1 - Esther and God's Sovereignty.
The Role of the church is to pray and hear God's direction and surrender to do His will. Praying from a place of seeing God's sovereign rule. Knowing we are called for “such a time as this.”
“This is what happened during the time of Xerxes, the Xerxes who ruled over 127 provinces stretching from India to Cush." (Esther 1:1)
“Yet having learned who Mordecai's people were, he scorned the idea of killing only Mordecai. Instead, Haman looked for a way to destroy all Mordecai's people, the Jews, throughout the whole kingdom of Xerxes.” (Esther 3:6)
“For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father's family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?" 15 Then Esther sent this reply to Mordecai: 16 "Go, gather together all the Jews who are in Susa, and fast for me. Do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. I and my attendants will fast as you do. When this is done, I will go to the king, even though it is against the law. And if I perish, I perish.” (Esther 4:14-16)
Day 2 - Daniel and God's Sovereignty— and the Role of the Church to Stand as Intercessors amid Escalating Global Pressures and Conflict.
The book of Daniel contains four visions concerning world powers, other visions of future events, and the appearance of God's angel. Yet Daniel was a prisoner and servant, a believer in God at all times in all circumstances, an intercessor and prophet.
Living for the age to come
Eyes to see God's plans for eternity
The Calling forth of Messengers to bring wisdom and clarity in times of urgency and pressure.
Expecting God to Move
Daniel recognizes that the captivity of the Jews predicted to be for 70 years, is now over, and he prays and urges their return based on Jeremiah's prophecy.
"Now, our God, hear the prayers and petitions of your servant. For your sake, O Lord, look with favor on your desolate sanctuary." (Daniel 9:1)
"Then Daniel answered the king, "You may keep your gifts for yourself and give your rewards to someone else. Nevertheless, I will read the writing for the king and tell him what it means." (Daniels 5:17)
Day 3. God's Sovereignty over Israel and all nations through His miraculous hand. The role of the Church is to believe God is moving miraculously now and in the ages to come.
Dependence on God's hand to move miraculously
Knowing He that sits in the heavens laughs
Believing for the 'greater things than these
Being yielded to God to use us for His glory.
Believing God for stockpiles to be depleted, weapons to malfunction, and hearts of former enemies to be broken and turned by the Lord
“Do not be afraid of them; the Lord your God himself will fight for you." (Deut 3:22)
“But Elisha sent word to the King of Israel warning him not to go near that place." (2 Kings 6:9-20)
"And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed." (Acts 16: 25-26)
"But during the night an angel of the Lord opened the gates of the prison, and taking them out…" (Acts 5:19)

Daniel Fast (Vegetables and fruits) No meat, cheese, sweets, or dairy products.
